Dodd Gross  is the newest member of the band joining in June 2009.

Dodd grew up in a musical family, born and raised in York Pa. He was influenced by his Fathers passion for Jazz and blues, and also by the music of the 60's and 70's. From 1979 to 1990, Dodd performed with local and national acts from the area, Fly By Night, Hyde Your Daughters, and the Pep Boys. In 1991 Dodd gave up drums and music to concentrate on his new kite carreer.

In 2000 Dodd disolved his Kite Import Business and became a subcontractor, designing sport kites and production in China.

Around 2004, Dodd began to play drums again and at the end of 2006, joined local band Kodiak. Since Skydog Kites LLC began, Dodd is in charge of Kite Design and Promotion. Sky Dog Kites
