Roy Uphold  is the newest member of the band joining in February 2006. Roy grew up in the mountains of West Virginia and Western Maryland - no "hillbilly" jokes please!

Roy began playing drums at the age of 6. The youngest, Roy grew up lsitening to all kinds of music. From his parents listening to country greats like Hank Williams, Conway Twitty, etc to this older sister's softer choices like Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens to his brothers listening to rock music like the Beatles, Black Sababth, Jethro Tull, Roy has taken all these influences and created his own unique style of drumming. Roy has formerly appeared with local bands "Ransom", "Drivin' Blind", "the Rhythm Slaves" and "the Skula Burrell Blues Band". Roy is well know for playing "in the pocket" and keeping a solid beat and keeping it interesting.

Roy's sense of humor, one-lners and jokes keeps everybody loose and wondering what he'll say next!
